basic facts games
Kia ora koutou, I haven't quite got the hang of this Blog and forgot how to add a link but here are a couple of websites that you will find useful.

There are some good multiplication games on www.multiplication.com/interactive_games.htm
Remember to do the addition and subtraction first. When you get to the multiplication games learn them in the following order; 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, 3, 4, 11, 9, 6, 7, 8. Good luck and have fun!

Wahanga Tuarua ~ Term Two
This term the Bilingual team have planned an integrated unit focusing on Te Whanau a Tama-nui-te-ra ~ Our Solar System. We will be learning about Nga Aorangi ~ The Planets, Tama-nui-te-ra ~ The Sun and Te Marama ~ The Moon. Matariki celebrations will be taking place on Wednesday 16th of June.
We have a number of initiatives taking place this term for hakinakina - Sports. These include Marching Jump & Jive teams, Giants coaching for miniball, Sports extension for Year 6's and rugby league. The senior syndicate will also be doing a fundamental skills programme at the new Saxton stadium on May 14th.
Reports and Learner Profiles will go home on Friday 7th May and we look forward to having a 3-way conference with you and your child on either Monday 10th or Tuesday 11th May. We are developing a new reporting system and the tamariki will be sharing with you pieces of their work, what they have been learning and what they need to work on next.
